She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin C. Adams; her parents, Marshall Lee Byrd and Gladys Byrd; and her siblings, Marshall Byrd, Jr., Doris Byrd, Edward Leon Byrd, Charles A. Byrd, Vernon E. Byrd, Dicky R. Byrd, Tommy Byrd, Jackie Byrd and Mildred Evelyn Byrd.

She is survived by: her daughter Monica Tidwell (Corey); her granddaughters, Shianne Hasley and Savanna Hall; her brothers, Jimmy L. Byrd (Carolyn) and Billy W. Byrd (Carol); her sisters-in-law, Nancy Hewett (Mike) and Lisa Diane Adams; and her pet Zoey.
