He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Wilson Vines; and his children, Ronald Vines, Martha Jones and Jean Sellers. He is survived by: his children, Tim Vines (Nedra) and Janice Justice; and his sisters, JoAnn Rush and Jimmie Smith. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
