He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Marchant; and his brother Rickie Marchant. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Elizabeth Boothe (Big Mama) and James Boothe (Big Daddy); his grandmother Velma Marchant; and his mother Shirley Marchant.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hickman Chapel Cemetery.
