He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K. Reaves and Dorothy Ervin Reaves of Lipscomb, Alabama.; and his siblings, Robert E. "Pete" Reaves, Paul E. "Butch" Reaves and Linda Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Pickens Reaves; his sons, Benjie Reaves (Paula) and Greg Reaves (Isabel); his grandchildren, Nicholas Reaves, Amanda Reaves, Emily Reaves, Kika Reaves, Max Reaves and Elisa Wall (Nathan); his great grandchild Magdalene Wall; and his siblings, Donald W. Reaves (Carolyn) and Bobbie Busenlehner (Frank).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (4809 Bell Hill Rd, Bessemer, AL 35022). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
