She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Neal Johnson (T. N.) of Carrollton; her parents, James Thomas Walters and Stella Bankston Walters; and her sister Nanette Walters Byrd. She is survived by: her daughter Tyra Johnson-Pirtle (Winston) of Birmingham, Alabama; her grandchildren, Neal Winston Pirtle of Nashville, Tennessee and Madora Adele Pirtle of Birmingham, Alabama; and her niece Karen Byrd Bristow of Dothan, Alabama..
