He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyrus Hood and Joan Hood; his wife Sandra Ray Hood; his son Billy Ray Hood; his granddaughter Mallorie N. Hood; and his siblings, Doc Hood and Patricia Hood.
He is survived by: his children, Michael K. Hood, Clayton M. Hood and Tina H. Rosetta (Tony); his granddaughter Cynthia Hood; his sisters, Kathy Palmer and Cynthia Nelson (David); and his pet Emmy Lou. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
