Melba Ann Bandy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Ann Bandy (Bessemer, Alabama), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ernest William Vance; her siblings, Peggy Short and William Cherry; her husband Richard J. Bandy; and her sons, Baby Bandy and Richard R. Bandy.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Ellison Mitchell; her children, Edwin Bandy (Kelly), Audrey Kennedy (Spencer), John Bandy, Elizabeth Fisher and Peggy Vick (Jason); her daughter-in-law Prudence Bandy; her brother Jesse Vance; and her niece Debbie O'Donnell. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
