She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Jackson and Stella Mae Pearson Whitley; her husband William "Bill" Hosmer; and her brothers, Jack, Bill, Charles, Robert and JD Whitley.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Benton (Ed Miller), Donny Hosmer (Beth) and Tommy Hosmer (Cindy); her sisters, EvaJo Philpot and Helen Gable; and her grandchildren, Andy Hosmer (Katie), Jill Self, Michael Nabors (Kristen), Kristen Posey, TJ Benton, Brady Hosmer and Brooks Hosmer. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127).
