She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Powell, Ruben, III Powell (Juwanna), Myra Armstead (Deacon Marcus) and Caprisia Chandler (Justin Bell); her grandchildren, Luther Powell (Mercedes), Angelica Williams (Darcel), Ruben Powell, IV, Shamyia Armstead-Caldwell (Melvin), Keon Powell, Marlanda Armstead, NiKeriya Hurst and Ron'Darius Hall (Jeffrey Chandler, III); her great grandchildren, Ashton Sharpe, Lemetrius Powell, Ava Pippen, ZaMora Powell and Elijah Caldwell; her siblings, Edwina Jones, Billy Jones (Franchisca), Barbara Steele (Willie), Alphonso Jones and Annette Jones; and her aunts, Dorothy Fuller and Stella James. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
