With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Wigley LaRue of Bessemer, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Hazel Wigley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hazel Wigley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemie Wigley and Kathleen Stevenson Wigley; her husband Bobby Gene LaRue; and her brother Vernon Eldred Wigley. She is survived by: her nieces, Kim D. Shirley and Brandy Wigley; her sister-in-law Shirley Wigley; and her aunt Mildred Stevenson Holmes. She is also survived by great niece, a great nephew, and many cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gibbs Chapel Cemetery.
