She is survived by: her children, Vickie Desmond (Charles), Edwin C Lingo III (Debbie) and Stacey Short (Andy); her granddaughters, Stephanie Smith (Bret), Amy Desmond, Jessica Desmond, Melissa Gragg (Matt) and Lacey Miller; and her siblings, Robert Higgins, Andy Higgins (Sandy), Gerrie Higgins (Cindy), Peggy Blanchard, Edna Mae Alexander, Helen Lawrence and Doris Cornelius.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023).
