He was predeceased by: his sister Sarah Chaney Knox; and his wife Johnnie F. Knox. He is survived by: his brother Isaac G. Knox (Shelia); his son Dalandus Knox (Nicole); his stepdaughter Yukenna Bailey; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Kimmiah, Damien, Darion, Jerymiah and Legaci; his siblings, Benny (Cheryl), Jeffery, Jimmy Knox (Thomasina), Joe Evans (Shirley), Willie Thomas, Ardell Scarbrough, Loretta Knox-Green, Vanessa Stallworth (Tony), Chaunty Coleman, Teresa Winston and Shantae Knox; and his mother-in-law Jacqueline Knox. He is also survived by three brothers-in-laws; two sister-in-law.
