He is survived by: his wife Sharon Benefield; his children, Casey Benefield (Lauren) and Dustin Benefield (Shelby); his grandson Jason Benefield; and his siblings, Peggy Gilbert and Ricky Benefield (Cindy). He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as in laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
