With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte W. Herring of Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Charlotte's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charlotte has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tyndle and Hazel Tyndle; her son Darren Williford; and her sister Joyce Dees. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie W. Smith; her grandson Stuart Williford (Sierra); her sisters, Nora Jones and Trudy Nabors; her daughter-in-law Deanna Williford; and her brother-in-law Raymond Dees.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Bessemer, AL 35020). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (650 Circle Heights Cir, Bessemer, AL 35020).
