He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Fender and Ava Fender (Barbara Jean Fender); his siblings, Geraldine Wheeler, Alice Witkowski, Sandy Ferris, Lois Becker, Wilma Bryan, Lucius Fender and Jack Fender; and his stepdaughter Eva Buck.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Nettles Fender; his children, Sheree Fields (Bobby) and Richard Fender; his stepdaughters, Mintie Keiser, Crystal Womack (Shawn) and Emily Wallace (Jeremy); his siblings, Donald R. Fender, Celia Hunt, Doris Riley and Sandra Harrelson; his grandchildren, Israel Fields, Elizabeth Fields and Anna Fields; his stepgrandchildren, William Nettles, Hannah Womack, Sarah Anders (Christopher), Steven Keiser, Daniel Womack, Liz Nettles, Andrew Keiser, Caleb Womack, Rachel Womack, Kayla Wallace and Audrey Wallace; and his great grandchild Samuel Anders. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
