With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Sims Rosser Courington (Bessemer, Alabama), who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Cargile Sims and Martin Cleo Sims; her siblings, Esther Sims and James T. Sims; her husband Billy Rosser; her son James L. Rosser (Jimmy); and her husband V. C. Courington.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Diane Decker (Tim); her children, Reggie Rosser (Kacie), Maggie Decker Polk and Dustin Decker; and her sister Melba Donaldson (Eugene). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
