With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Florence Green Odom (Bessemer, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy; her mother Vivian Green; and her siblings, Betty Morgan (George) and Doug Greene (Billie). She is survived by: her daughter Melanie; and her grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Odom III (Trey), Daniel Lem Odom, Ivy Odom and Crystil Fitzgerald.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Bessemer, AL 35020). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens South (2711 John Hawkins Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35244).
