He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ann Griffin Bonner; his parents, Joe Bonner and Verda Earnest Bonner; his siblings, Vernell Bonner and Raymond Bonner; and his sister-in-law Snoma Bonner.

He is survived by: his siblings, Inez B. Watkins, Adelle B. Belcher (Don), Mary Ellen B. Pinion (Ralph) and TJ Bonner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
