He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles C. Farrington and Nettie Bell Misner Farrington; and his grandparents, Myles W. Farrington and Ruth Dobbins Farrington. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Simmons Farrington; his children, Laura Franklin (JL), Lisa Cooler (Eddie), Myles C. Farrington (Lesa), Richard Farrington (Randi), Steven Farrington (Cheryl) and Michael Farrington; his grandchildren, Julia Cooler (Darrell), Myles C. Farrington Jr., James Pate and Christopher Pate; and his great grandchild Cassandra Cooler.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norwood-Wyatt Chapel (707 Temple Ave N, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Berry Methodist Church (18062 AL-18, Berry, AL 35546).
