He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lois Spruell; his son Clyde Richard Spruell (Ricky); and his siblings, Hubert Spruell, O'neal Spruell (Faye), Leon Spruell (Sylvia), Elizabeth Melton (Earl) and Sara Meeks (Oscar).
He is survived by: his children, Michele Moore (Toney) and Dwayne Spruell (Crystal); and his siblings, Kenny Spruell (Patti), Johnny Spruell (Shirley) and Mary Glass. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
