He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Higgins (Buddy) and Alice Higgins; his daughter Melissa Darnell Higgins; and his sister Joanne Kitchens. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Pineda of Little Elm and Boyce David Higgins, Jr. of Little Elm, Texas.; his granddaughters, Brianna Pineda and Alexis Pineda of Little Elm, Texas.; and his brothers, Everett Higgins Jr., Jesse Higgins and James Higgins.
