He was predeceased by: his sisters, Melba Tubbs, Diane Cook, Imarene Swindle and Elsie Lee Chaney. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Humphries (Stanley) of McCalla and Bonnie Moody of Berry; and his siblings, Grady Evans (Barbara) of Texas and Reba Roberts of Hueytown. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
