Virginia Lawrence Reid Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lawrence Reid of Bellwood, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Mitchell Reid; her siblings, Robert Lawrence, John Lawrence, Mary Elsie Beall, Caroline Oakes, Lex Lawrence and Peggy Stewart; and her parents, Robert Lawrence and Nettie Lou Lawrence (Bradley).
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Lawrence Reid (Sarah Stokes), Virginia Lee Reid and Michelle Jane Reid; and her grandchildren, Walden Reid, Emery George Reid, Georgia Reid Miller and Eleanor Jane Miller. She is also survived by her friends and especially her family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bellwood Baptist Church (4931 Co Rd 45, Bellwood, AL 36313).
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Nature Conservancy of AL, Bellwood Baptist Church, or Kirkwood By the River (marked for the river path and gazebo) in Birmingham AL.
