He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Hill; his children, Gary Lynn Hill, William Richard Hill and Martha Sue Hill; and his parents, William Lee "Bill" Hill and Martha Ida Watkins Hill.
He is survived by: his son Bobby Ray Hill, Sr. (Dana) of Kennedy; his sisters, Betty Hill of Fayette, Frances Hill of Fayette and Helen Watkins of Brookwood; and his grandchildren, Bobby Ray Hill, Jr. (Tina), Tabatha Davis, Tyler Nelson and Tiara Milligan (Daniel). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
