She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Aldridge and Elsie Ruth Pugh Aldridge; her husband Delmers Chambless; her siblings, Maxine Ryland, Hershel Paul "Pewe", Leon and Bill Aldridge; and her granddaughter April Hollis.
She is survived by: her children, Devona Brewer of Beaverton, AL, Lyne Collins of Guin, AL, Connie Autrey of Guin, AL and Richard Chambless of Guin, AL; her siblings, Faye Cantrell of Oneonta, AL, Lee Ruth Cantrell, Linda McFee of Beaverton, AL, Margie Kingsley of Killen, AL, Janette Spann of Winfield, AL and Eugene Aldridge of Dallas, TX; and her baby Odie. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home - Guin (7195 US-43, Guin, AL 35563). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
