It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vada Chambers-Scott (Bear Creek, Alabama), born in Double Springs, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, George Phillip of Thomas Ray and Laretha Gay of Doris Nell; her grandson Barry Allen Baker of Josh Williams; and her parents, Alfred Thomas and Nettie Irene Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, Royce Scott (Charla), Margie Bennett, Glenda Wilkinson (Carl) and Jeannett Green; her grandchildren, Robin, Randel, Kris, Channell, Michelle, Daniel, Jennifer, Stephanie and Jordan; and her brother Floyd Chambers (Faye). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
