She was predeceased by: her husband Lavoun Tidwell; her parents, Filo Doss and Jessie Doss; and her siblings, Linda Doss, Roy, James and Thurston Doss.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Nikki; her son Jeff Tidwell; her grandson Tim Doss (Caressa); her daughter Jennifer Tidwell; and her grandchildren, Julia Tidwell, Julia Nicole Tidwell, Nick Parker, Sophia Doss, Jake Doss and Christian Doss.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association and the American Kidney Foundation.
