He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Owens and Ada Owens; his children, Billy Owens (Sherry) of Pine Grove, Larry Owens of Leaksville, MS, John Owens (Carmen) of Bay Minette, AL, Kathy Eady (Mike) of Perdido, AL and Kay Hartley (Dan) of Bay Minette, AL; his close friend Ruth F. Owens; and his grandsons, Benjamin D. Hartley and Jonathan O. Hartley. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren.
