He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha L. Odom; his siblings, Louise Lambert, Joseph S. Odom, Jr., James Odom, Johnny Odom and Raymond Odom; and his grandson William L. "Tra" Odom, III.
He is survived by: his children, William L. "Billy" Odom, Jr. of Phillipsville and Patricia Ann Chambliss of Saraland; his sister Viola Gafford of Lucedale, Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Theresa Messer of Saraland and John D. Chambliss Jr. of Colorado.
