He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jenks and Frances Essie Ganey Jenks; and his sister Mary Ledkins. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Levette Hammond Jenks of Bay Minette, AL; his children, John Walter Jenks (Karen) of Bay Minette, AL and Geri Yevette Peacock (David) of Bay Minette, AL; his siblings, Al Jenks of Katy, TX, Helen McDowell of Rabun and Carrie Mae Hammond of Bay Minette, AL; his grandchildren, Krystle Leigh Cheney (James) of Bay Minette, AL, David Jeremiah Peacock of Bay Minette, AL, John Robert Peacock of Pensacola, FL and John Wesley Jenks of Bay Minette, AL; and his great grandchildren, Addison Cheney, Charlie Cheney, David Cheney, Caitlyn Cheney and Leilani Cheney.
