He is survived by: his daughters, Sylvia Marie Joiner (Curtis) of Bay Minette, AL, Rita Kay Diedtrich of Bay Minette, AL, Pamela Mechelle Thompson (Barry) of Bay Minette, AL and Amy Lynn McLaurin (Shenandoah) of Monroeville, AL; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Diedtrich (Meg) of Woodstock, GA, James "JD" Joiner of Bay Minette, AL, Hayden Thompson of Bay Minette, AL, Andrew McLaurin of Monroeville, AL, Ellianna "Elli" McLaurin of Monroeville, AL and Emilee "Emi" McLaurin of Monroeville, AL; his great grandchildren, Leigh Margaret and Owen John Diedtrich of Woodstock, GA; and his sister Viola Mitchell of Mitchell, SD.
