She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert Frank Smith; her parents, Joe E. Stewart and Annie Bell Taylor Stewart; and her sister Helen Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Smith (Robin) and Arlene Bateman (Brent) of Slidell, LA; and her grandchildren, Angela Brown (Chris), Clenon Williams (Jill), Kimberly Smith, Crystal Lokey (Heath), Jennifer Bateman and Blaine Bateman. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
