He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Mitchell and Vera Mitchell; and his son Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rauschenberg Mitchell; his children, Jeannine Noonan (George) and Forrest Steven Mitchell (Melissa); his grandchildren, George Noonan, III (Amanda Fernandez), Campbell McMillan Noonan (Hannah Stone), Adam Mitchell (Libby Chambliss) and Ben Mitchell; his great grandchildren, George IV, Thomas and Katherine Noonan; and his grandsons, Daniel Godwin and Steven Irvin.
