He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Stewart and Sadie Lancaster Stewart; and his siblings, Billy Stewart, Betty Allen, Marilyn Anderson and Janice Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Marie Joiner Stewart of Rabun; his daughters, Tonya Stewart Gardner (JR) of Bay Minette, AL and Roxanne "Roxie" Stewart Lee (John) of Frisco City, AL; his siblings, Burk Stewart (Lucille) of Rabun, Jerry Stewart (Carolyn) of Rabun, Barbara Hadley (Rayford) of Pine Grove, Joal Linette Thomas of Rabun, Sherry Jean Ryan of Pine Grove, Margie Stewart Doyle (Steven) of Crossroads and Shelia Foster (Bryan) of Rabun; and his grandchildren, Kanen Gardner and Madalyn "Madi" Lee.
