He was predeceased by: his son Benson Ray Jones; and his siblings, Ruth Lucas and Charles Russell Jones. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Herndon Jones of Rabun; his children, Cynthia Carmer (Dennis) of Stapleton, AL and Chris Jones of Bay Minette, AL; and his stepchildren, Teresa Gibbs (Chris) of Rabun, Angie Hoffpauir (Kyle) of Wynne, AR and Richard Evers (Lynn) of Forest, MS. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
