Philena Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2022, at the age of 91, Philena Peterson of Bay Minette, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Elmer Peterson, Jr.; her son Donald S. Peterson; and her grandson Chuck Kernells. She is survived by: her children, Michael Peterson (Barbara), David Peterson, Cathy Peterson and Linda Johnson (Mike); and her sisters, Ida Lavone "Sweet" Hinesley of Gulf Shores, AL and Susie Wilder of Gulf Shores, AL. She is also survived by three grandsons and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hamilton Baptist Church Perpetual Cemetery Fund, 32815 County Road 112, Robertsdale, AL 36567 or to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1628, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
