It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma Branum of Bay Minette, Alabama, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro and Virginia of Castro Boro; her grandson Jason Branum Stewart of Bay Minette; her sons-in-law, Nicky Rider, Steven Frank Riera of Bay Minette and Blairsville; and her siblings, Purissimo, Melita, Peping, Manuel, Pedro Jr., Sylvia and Flora Boro.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Ramey Byrd, Jonathan Yazzie and Michael Dorough; her son Pierce Xavier "Jake" Branum (S. Naval Base) of Bay Minette; her mother-in-law Daisy Wimberly Branum; her children, Sharron Rider Branum of Bay Minette, Jackie Branum Byrd (John) of Bay Minette, Emily Branum Ryan (Joe) of Bay Minette, Kay Branum Riera of Bay Minette and Daisy Branum Sims (Tom) of Fairhope; her grandchildren, Nichole Rider Yazzie (Jonathan), Chip Stewart (Christine), Kimberly Branum, Amy Steiner, Jake Branum II, Cristen Mangold, Amanda Sims, Andrea Moyer, Clair Byrd Dorough, John Carlos Byrd, Caleb Ryan, Steven Riera, Staci Sanders, Andrea Roberson and Lionel Rider; and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Burroughs of Theodore and Linda Boro of Olongapo City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bay Assembly Blessing Box Food Pantry. Mail donations to Bay Assembly, 1706 U.S. 31 South, Bay Minette, Ala. 36507, designated to the Blessing Box, which provides food and personal items to local families in need.
