She was predeceased by: her parents, LeOtis Jane Farrier and Paul Frederick Meyers; and her brother Thomas Meyers. She is survived by: her sons, Carl Jackson Jones II and Lee Byrne Jones; her brothers, Steve Meyers (Linda) and Paul Meyers (Cindy); her nieces, Stephanie, Haley and McKenzie; her nephew Paul; and her former husband Carl Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mack Funeral Home, Inc. (22154 AL-59, Robertsdale, AL 36567). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mack Funeral Home Chapel (22154 AL-59, Robertsdale, AL 36567).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, 1700 McMeans Ave. in Bay Minette, an organization that was close to Monica's heart.
