We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2023, at the age of 95, Mary Ann Halliday of Bay Minette, Alabama, born in Guntersville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. George Barry Halliday, Sr.; her sons, Michael Anthony Halliday, James David Halliday and George Barry Halliday, Jr.; and her grandsons, James Olin DeVaney, IV and David Christopher DeVaney.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Anne Halliday Corbett of Bay Minette, AL, John Hannen Halliday (Sally) of Daphne, AL, Margaret Catherine "Peggy" DeVaney (Jim) of Point Clear, AL, Edward Martin "Marty" Halliday of Gulf Shores, AL, Patrick Aloysius Halliday (Susan) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ellen Elaine McDavid (Steve) of Gulf Shores, AL, Fredrick Gregory Halliday (Leslie) of Bay Minette, AL, Edna Halliday Delchamps (John) of Mobile, AL and William Damian Halliday of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and Chinester Barnes her friend and caregiver.
