She was predeceased by: her husband Hudson "Pete" Gilliand; her daughter Patricia "Patty" Waldrop; her grandson Stephen Thompson; her great grandchildren, Daniel James Brock and Nathan Alexander Thompson; and her siblings, Vera Johnson, Sybil Trawick, Mattie Burt, Bill Johnson and T. J. Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Vera Lee Thompson of Bay Minette, AL, Hudson Randall "Randy" Gilliand (Maricel) of Saraland, AL and Anne Gilliand; and her grandchildren, Sandra Dale Haag, Kevin Gene Thompson, Ricki Gilliand Martin, Ashley Amandoron, Ashton Randall Gilliand, Vicky Flowers Britt, Tammy Flowers Eady, Jeremy Warren Flowers, Joey Lee Flowers, Jessie Flowers Morgan, James Hudson Waldrop, Debra "Shelly" Pearce and Richard Waldrop, Jr.. She is also survived by thirty great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
