He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ivy and Ruby Hinote. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stevens Hinote; his children, Renee Matthews (Ed), Les Hinote (Barbara), Debbie Bryars (Jesse) and Lori Gibson (Martin); his grandchildren, Laura McCaw (Will), Lucas Hall (Renee), Jim Hinote (Logan), Daniel Hinote, Traveis Graham (Stefanie), Angel Hinote, Amy Hill (Joe), Jessica Witt (Larry), Kayla Bryars, Whitney Harris (Cory) and Cody Gibson (Page); and his siblings, Linda Vincent and John W. Hinote. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children, P.O. Drawer 577, Talladega, AL 35161-9975.
