She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Mae Hayles (Theron) and Harwood C Hayles (Dexta); her husband Jimmy L. Taylor; and her children, Brenda G. Smith and Terry Wayne Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Perry Taylor and Karen Fisk (Bob); and her grandchildren, Michael Lawler (Stacy), Allison Lawler (Eric), Ashley Williams (Robert), Brad Droche (Jill) and Lindsay Ross (Cameron). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
