It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Marion Nelson (Bay Minette, Alabama), who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenia Ferguson Nelson and Jesse Edward Nelson, Jr.; his brother Jesse Raymond Nelson; and his friend Judy Cain. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Nelson Sherrell (Jerry); his nieces, Angela Sherrell Cooke (Scott) and Amy Sherrell Walley (Dustey); his great-niece Caitlin Catchot Rosonet (Madison); his great-nephews, Corey Catchot, Tyler Cooke, Ryan Cooke, Benjamin and Connor Walley; and also, Brooks and Brady Rosonet.
