He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Blair and Massie V. Blair; his siblings, W. C. Blair and Bertha B. Stacey; and his daughter-in-law Mary Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy S. Blair of Stapleton, AL; his children, John T. Blair, Jr. (Ladda) of San Antonio, TX, Terrel R. Blair, Sr. (Brenda) of Fairhope, AL, Michael G. Blair (Diana) of Mobile, AL and Linda J. Davis (Paul) of Belleville, IL; and his sister Marilyn F. Mosley of Stapleton, AL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
