He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Boyette Berger and Alice Lousie Reid; his siblings, Charles Richard "Ricky" Berger, Kenneth Berger, Ronnie Berger, Bobby Joe Berger, Mary Cormier of Virginia and Cathy Delores Reid Mitchem (Kay Taylor); and his niece Rebecca Lousie Ayers.
He is survived by: his brother Clyde Hillary "Pete" Burger (Susan); and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Burger, Amanda Holland, Leigh Anne Garza, April Reid, Chris Burger, Robby Burger, Bryan Burger and Anthony Burroughs. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
