It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Kay Sims (Bay Minette, Alabama), born in Atmore, Alabama, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Stewart and Sadie Lancaster Stewart; and her siblings, Billy Stewart, Betty Allen and Marilyn Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Alonzo Sims of Rabun; her children, James Alonzo "Lonnie" Sims (Heather) of Rabun and Sommer Kay Sims Moore (Ronnie) of Rabun; her siblings, Burk Stewart (Lucille) of Rabun, Jerry Stewart (Carolyn) of Rabun, Rocky Stewart (Shelia) of Rabun, Barbara Hadley (Rayford) of Pine Grove, Sherry Ryan of Pine Grove, Nett Thomas of Rabun, Margie Doyle (Steve) of Crossroads and Shelia Foster (Bryan) of Rabun; and her grandchildren, Kayten Moore, Kevin Sims, Eli Sims, Henry Sims, Della Moore and Rhett Sims.
