It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sims (Bay Minette, Alabama), who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Estelle Gulsby Sims; and his brother Cecil Sims. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Stewart Sims of Rabun; his sons, James Todd Sims of Panama City, FL, Mark Christopher Sims (Carmen) of Tibbie, AL and Bradley Jason Sims (Jami) of McMinneville, OR; his brother Rufus Glenn Sims of Ketchikan, AK; his grandchildren, Brittney, Dakota, Lilly, Andrew, Alex, Kelsey, James, Sydney, Riley, Sara, Carrie, Joel, Madelyn and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Bentley, Tatum, Zoey, Reid, Annleigh, Aaliyah, Mason, Eli, Londyn and Ryn.

Although the family will accept flowers they suggest memorial contributions be made to the church of your choice.
