We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jack Proffitt (Bay Minette, Alabama), born in Tazewell, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Patricia Lynn Veazey; his brothers, Robert Proffitt, Roy Proffitt and Richard Proffitt, Jr.; and his grandson Phillip Holt.
He is survived by: his children, Francine Proffitt Holley (Dewayne) of Crossroads, Michael Douglas Proffitt (Shannon) of Simpsonville, SC, Jacqueline Marie Proffitt Miller of Harvest, AL and Steven Duane Proffitt (Glenda) of Evans, GA; the mother of his children Marie Bishop Hollingsworth of Crossroads; and his grandchildren, Patrick Holt, Christy Harris, Shaunna Sue Proffitt, Heather Lynn Proffitt, Michaela Proffitt, Stevie Lee Proffitt, Nick Harris, John Ryan Blankenship, Rebekah Bates (Wesley), Kenneth Daniel Holley, Joy Elizabeth Garrett (Meleeke) and Andrew Scott Holley. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to William F. Green State Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Drive, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
