He was predeceased by: his parents, Magge Stewart and Taylor Stewart; his wife Ethel Jeanette Morris Stewart; his grandsons, Zach Locklar and Nathan Kelley; his siblings, Jack Stewart, George Stewart, Joe Willard Stewart, Homer Stewart, Rabon Stewart, Clinton Stewart, Gutherine Stewart and Earlean Stewart; and his son-in-law Bert Daniel "Danny" Blackmon, III.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Blackmon of Bay Minette, AL and Martin Stewart (Bella) of Sierra Vista, AZ; his grandson Jonathan Kelley (Dawn) of Bay Minette, AL; his sister Paulean Collins (Norman) of Winter Haven, FL; his great grandchildren, Dillon Anderson and Jacob Kelley; his grandchildren, Marti Ferguson (Eddie) of Pine Grove, Joseph, Olivia and Victoria Ferguson; and his caregiver Glen Perkins.
