It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Cabaniss (Bay Minette, Alabama), who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ina Horne, Inez Norsworthy, Ida Ree Williams, Doris Sanders and Roscoe Turner; and her parents, George Turner and Velma Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Willard "Preacher" Cabaniss; her children, Samuel "Sammy" Cabaniss, Jerry Cabaniss, Linda McCaw (Willie) and Thomas Cabaniss (Nita); her grandchildren, Kim Burkett, Jennifer Hastings (Eric), Emily Gortemoller (John), Jeremy Cabaniss (Deanna), Lauren Cabaniss, Amanda Thomas (JT), Will Cabaniss (Lisa), Amanda Hartleroad (Seth) and Jennifer Davis; her great grandchildren, Kristen Burkett, Maggie Burkett, Stefanie Truhel (Cody), Sydney Hastings, Eric Hastings (Ariel), Elija Hastings (Tiara LeAnne), Dillon Cabaniss (Kristen), Madelyn Gortemoller, Austin Lowe, Nolan Cabaniss, Madeline Sellers, Charlotte Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Ava Cabaniss, Witt Cabaniss, Seth David Hartleroad, Eli Hartleroad, Briana Davis, BJ Davis and Becca Davis; and her great great grandchildren, Christopher, Bradley, Eli and Zoey.
